Ellen Stocks

Ellen was born on June 14th, 1822 in Berry Brow and her christening took place on August 18th, 1822 in Almondbury.¹²

Ellen's father was Benjamin Stocks and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Campinot. Her paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn; her maternal grandparents were James Campinot and Grace Shaw. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Homer, James, Joseph, Mary, Ann and Emma. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 30 on June 18th, 1852 in Lancashire.¹
