Eliza is probably the daughter of William Boothroyd from his first marriage (or else an illegitimate daughter of Mary Stocks).
In 1851, Eliza Boothroyd (14), born Stalybridge, Cheshire was with parents William and Mary and siblings James (4) and William (1) at Dukinfield
Married and left home by 1861. There are two marriages for Eliza Boothroyd in Huddersfield in 1858 and 1860. Either one could be her, but no matches found for an Eliza in 1861 or 1871, of the possible marriages.
