William (Henry) Boothroyd

William, known as Henry, was born in December 1854 in Ashton-under-Lyne.¹

Henry's father was William Boothroyd and his mother was Mary Winterbottom. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Walker, Wright, Orlando, Leigh, Sarah and Bertha.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 84 on May 28th, 1939 in Stalybridge.  He was buried in Stalybridge.²
