In 1851 he was still with parents and sister Happy and her daughter Maria Barrow.
Recorded as b.1829 and married to Mary in 1871 census.
Living at Walmesley (Walmsley), Turton, Lancashire in 1891, or is this the other George Mather from Bury? There is another George, son of Samuel and Ellen who was christened in Bolton in 1829.

Happy Shuttleworth and George Mather had their children baptised as Bolton-le-Moors togather on the 29th Sep 1861. Samuel (son of Phineas and Happy) Frederick William (son of George and Mary) Clara Ann (dau of George and Mary)
George's married daughter, Clara Ann Nelson, who resided at No. 77 opposite, acted as his housekeeper, and she saw her father at 11am and she saw her father in his usual health. He died on the bowling green later in the day (see news articke).
George and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on June 22nd, 1856 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Curate W H Coates and witnessed by John Blackley & John Mather.10

Cant find Frederick in 1901. There was a Frederick Mather (b.1857) from Bolton living with Mary A Mather (wife) and Alphony, Margaret and Edith (nephew and nieces) and two servants, but this is another who were also present in Bolton in 1891 when our Frederich was with his brother.
From the headstone, we know Frederick died 4 June 1900, aged 42
