John Mather

John was born in 1713 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 1st, 1713 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹²

- John, son of Samuel, baptised in 1713 was a Butcher at Warrington. His first son was named after his father.
  
  4 April 1734, John Mather, Butcher fo Warrington married Ellen Blinstone of Warrington.
  
  From 1734 to 1757, John and Ellen had 11 children, all with baptism records showing John a Butcher.
  
  In 1768, Thomas, butcher died, recorded aged 53 (should be 55). A year later his son Thomas also died.
