Cant find Frederick in 1901. There was a Frederick Mather (b.1857) from Bolton living with Mary A Mather (wife) and Alphony, Margaret and Edith (nephew and nieces) and two servants, but this is another who were also present in Bolton in 1891 when our Frederich was with his brother.
From the headstone, we know Frederick died 4 June 1900, aged 42

Frederick died in 1900, aged 42, and most probably never married. He was living at 77 Grasmere Street, Bolton.
