Happy was born on February 8th, 1768 in Bolton and her baptism took place on April 17th, 1768 at Bank Street Unitarian conducted by Reverend Philip Holland.1 2  Happy's father was James Lomax and her mother was Mary Taylor.  Her paternal grandparents were John Lomax and Ellen Cross. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Mary, Jenny and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Arthur, Mary, Elizabeth, Esther and Ann.  She died due to natural causes or old age, Natural Decay with Cystitis, at the age of 75 on June 23rd, 1843 in Bolton.  She was buried on June 25th, 1843 in Bolton.3 4
