Happy Flitcroft

Happy was born in April 1818 in Darcy Lever and her baptism took place on May 31st, 1818 at St. Mary (Deane).¹²

Happy's father was James Flitcroft and her mother was Mary Cartwright. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, James, Sarah, Mary and Hannah. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 61 in March 1880 in Bolton.³

  In 1852, Happy Flitcroft married John Green at Bolton RO so may have been bacause it was John's second marriage, or more likely Happy was a baptist. John had a son Noah born 1837.
