Another Alice Lomax of Bolton, daughter of James Lomax and Mary Crompton was christened 2 Apr 1775. This other Alice married John Booth on 25 Aug 1790.
Alice was on the Little Bolton poor list in 1811 (but not 1831), living in Green Street. She would have only been 41, so this may be another.
In 1851 she was Head of household, aged 80, proprietor of land at Silverwell St, Great Bolton

Alice and John were married in a religious ceremony on August 25th, 1790 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by J Folds and witnessed by William Orrell and Richard Mangnall.4 They had six sons and two daughters, named Josiah, John, Peter, Robert, Richard, James, Elizabeth and Alice. There are no more children.
