Eupheme was born about 1249 in Scotland.  Eupheme's father was Regent John de Baliol I of Scotland and her mother was Dervorgilla MacDougal de Galloway.  Her paternal grandparents are Hugh de Baliol and Cecily de La Fontaine; her maternal grandparents were Alan de Galloway and Princess Margaret Huntingdon of Scotland. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Cecilia, Ada, Eleanor and Euphemia. She had a half-sister named Maud.  She died in Fern, Ross & Crom, Scotland.
