Simon, known as "le Chauve", was born in Montfort-sur-Risle, Eure, France.  "le Chauve"'s father was Amaury de Montfort and his mother was Agnes de Garlende.  His paternal grandfather was Simon D'Evreux de Montford and his paternal grandmother is Agnaes d'Evreux; his maternal grandparents were Seneschal Anselm de Garlende of France and Beatrix de Montlhery. He had a sister named Agnes d'Evereux.  He died on March 13th, 1181.  He was buried in Cathedral, Evreux, Normandy, France.


"le Chauve"'s family with Countess Maud d'Evereux

‌"le Chauve" and Maud were married in a religious ceremony about 1150 in France.  They had a son and a daughter, named Simon and Bertrade.
