Described as Gentleman or Farmer on Family Group Record. 1766 - 1838 Henry Hudson 72 72 14 Nov 1793, Henry Hudson aged 21 (or over) of Bamber Green, Cartmell, Lancaster, Husbandman and James Soul of Haversham, Inn Holder, licenced Henry Hudson (£200) to marry Jane Grimshaw of Crooklands, spinster. 1724 - 1787 Sarah Sill 62 62 1766 - 1838 Sarah Grimshaw 71 71 1756 - 1833 Isabella (Bella) Grimshaw 77 77 There are three entries in the Preston Patrick Church for 30 Aug 1795 for John Son of Jane Grimshaw, Bella Grimshaw,  and Jenney daughter of Henry & Jane Hudson born June 23rd baptiz'd August 30th. Clearly a family, all from Crooklands and John and Bella are shown as adults. This is most likely Isabella and her father being baptised as CoE in 1795.  However, Isabella was also baptised on her wedding day a few years earlier - perhaps she forgot or hadn't realised in her excitment!

James Vincent m. 19 Jan 1880, Bradford. 1822 - 1887 Sarah Kitching Smith 64 64 Sarah married John Foster (27 Sep 1841 at Manchester), and later Joseph Sykes (4 July 1853), both at Bingley. 1824 - 1908 Elizabeth Smith 83 83 Elizabeth married William Pickles 15 Dec 1845 in Bingley. 1828 - <1841 Sarah Ann Smith 13 13 1832 - 1897 Jane Grimshaw Smith 64 64 Jane married William Lister (19 Oct 1863) at Bingley. 1834 - 1850 John Grimshaw Smith 16 16 1840 - 1913 David Keighley Smith 73 73 David married three times.  Sarah Heaton (2-Jan-1865), Jane Nicholson, and Sarah Ann Routh (26 Apr 1896) 1795 - 1860 Jenny (Jane) Hudson 64 64 Jane Hudson was born Crooklands 23 Jun 1795, baptised as Jenny Hudson at Preston Patrick, Westmorland 30 Aug 1795). Her parents were Quakers.  Jane's father was Henry Hudson, a farmer.

In 1815, Jane Married William Smith, a farmer from Allerton.

In 1822, 1826 and 1829, Jane had Henry, Edwin and Jane baptised at Bingley.  In 1822, Jane was at Allerton with her husband William a farmer. After he died, she moved to Sand Beds (possibly the Inn) at Morton.

In 1839, Jane Smith (44) and Benjamin Seed (42) a farmer and widower from Carr House, North Bierley are married at Bingley.

1841: Jane aged 45, at Sand Beds (single dwelling), Innkeeper, probably at the Airedale Heifer Inn (not on census) on the Keighley (now Bradford) Road. Her three youndest children, William (20, servant), Henry (13, servant) and Jane (11). There was also Hannah Robinson (15, servant)

1851: Jane Seed aged 55 & Benjamin Seed aged 52 are at Sand Beds with their grandson William, aged 4.  They have 2 female servant girls (Grace Baker and Nancy Woodhead)

13 April 1860, Jane Seed of Sand Beds, East Morton, wife of Benjamin Seed, a farmer and Inn Keeper, died aged 64.  Benjamin (of Sand Beds) was present at the death.. ~1750 Henry Hudson 1753 - 1824 Jane Grimshaw 71 71 14 Nov 1793, Jane Grimshaw of Crooklands, parish of Heversham, Westmoreland, spinster were licenced (for £200) to be married at Heversham aforesaid.

She may be Jane Longbotton who married Richard Hudson at Bingley 20 Feb 1791, or Jane Crosland who married George hudson at Bradford, 8 Apr 1794. 1651 Elizabeth Sill 1723 - 1805 John Grimshaw 82 82 John possibly had a sister Esther.  They were married 4 days appart at Preston (both Quaker Marriages)

Innholder of Crooklands, but from the burial record, was later a farmer at Allerton, where he died.

An indenture record for a grave plot dated 1788 bears the name (amongst several others) of John Grimshaw of Calverley, so unless there is another John Grimshaw, Quaker in Bradford, is appears John first came to Calverely before farming at Allerton. ~1699 Thomas Sill There is no birth record for Thomas and Edward Sill jnr, but a gap in the years where Thomas and Edward may have been born.  Edward, Richard, Edward Jnr and Thomas were all witness at Richard Sill's marriage to Isabel Atkinson. ~1695 Edward Sill Jnr There is no birth record for Edward Sill jnr, but a gap in the years where  Edward may have been born. 

Edward, Richard, Edward Jnr and Thomas were all witness at Richard Sill's marriage to Isabel Atkinson, and the other Richard Sill's marriage (son of Richard) to Sarah Atkinson in 1717.
