Ellen Greenhalgh

Ellen was born in 1847 in Bolton.  Ellen's father was James Greenhalgh and her mother was Alice Hardman. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, Joseph, Wright, William, Mary, Rachel and Sarah.  She was the third youngest of the nine children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, William, John, Handel and Sarah.  She died at the age of 11 in 1858 in Bolton.¹
