Hilda Mather

Hilda was born on May 12th, 1917 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on June 27th, 1917 at St. Matthew (Halliwell) conducted by Vicar S Taylor.¹²

Hilda's father was Wilfred (Wilfredo) Mather and her mother was Mary Alice Hardman. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Mary Greenhalgh. She had two brothers named Robert and John. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 65 in March 1983 in Bolton.³
