MATHER Mary 78 Farnworth (Workhouse)
There was a Mary Mather in the same workhouse as Isaac in 1881, and died in Bolton in June 1882, but was recorded as from Turton, born 1805, which conflicts with census records.
Mary Mather is buried in a common burial at Tonge in a grave with 13 others, all buried between 4-16th October 1871. She is the only Mather, and grave Ref: CATHOL-3RD/G/95 suggests Catholic, so possibly the wrong person (or simply non-conformist, not CoE).
