John Fairhurst

John was born in 1803 in Little Bolton and his christening took place on January 30th, 1803 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

John's father was Henry Fairhurst and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Fletcher. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Thomas, Margaret, Hannah, Ellen and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven known children.

- Robyn Heap, with a 12 cM, 2 segment DNA match to JMG is descended from John Fairhurst. However, there is no common ancestor to explain the match.
