Ellen Fairhurst

Ellen was born in 1809 in Bolton and her christening took place on April 23rd, 1809 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Ellen's father was Henry Fairhurst and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Fletcher. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Margaret, Hannah and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the seven known children.
