Rebecca Greenhalgh

Rebecca was born in October 1859 in Westhoughton and her christening took place on October 30th, 1859 in Deane.¹²

Rebecca's father was Thomas Greenhalgh and her mother was Mary Grundy. She had two brothers and five sisters, named James, William, Catherine, Margaret, Alice, Mary and Catherine. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 13 on January 19th, 1873 in Westhoughton. She was buried in January 1873 at St. Bartholomew (Westhoughton).³
