Also, I've searched for all Nugent Births between 1912 and 1920 for John & James (see their Birth Notes), and they appear in opposite order to that expected. Also John was in Lancashire (not Birkenhead), but mother's maiden name does confirm the correct birth.
There was a John R Nugent born Q2-1921 in Birkenhead, who's mother's maiden name was Mather. Could this be another unknown son? Polly would have been 43, so quite possible. There was no death records, so not an infant who died.
