John Crook

John was born on May 31st, 1719 in Darcy Lever and his baptism took place on June 3rd, 1719 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

John's father was Jonathan Crook and his mother was Alice Lomax. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Crook and <unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Jonathan, Thomas, Elizabeth, Esther, Alice and Esther. He died at the age of 50 in June 1769 in Bolton. His burial was on June 5th, 1769 in Bolton.²

General Notes
- John, born 1719, was the illegitimate son of Jonathan Crook and Alice Lomax. However, after his baptism, his parents married at St Peter, Bolton, and continued their family.
  
  John may have died in 1769. However, it is this parents, not wife that are shown on the burial record, so this could be another (i.e. an infant).
