Thomas was born in October 1733 in Bolton and his baptism took place on October 26th, 1733 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1  Thomas' father was Jonathan Crook and his mother was Alice Lomax.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Crook and <unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Esther, Alice and Esther.  He died at the age of 17 in August 1751 in Bolton.  He was buried on August 15th, 1751 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1
