Ann, known as Nell, was born on March 13th, 1866 in Bolton.1  Nell's father was Joseph (Joe) Mather and her mother was Ellen Tomlinson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Buckley; her maternal grandparents were Richard Tomlinson and Ann Bolton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Dick, Samuel, Sarah, Polly, Elizabeth and Betty.  She died at the age of 88 in September 1954 in Cleveland.2 





Nell's first family with Thomas (Tom) James Robinson

‌Nell and Tom were married in a civil ceremony in June 1891 in Birkenhead.2  They had a son named Willie.  There are no more children.

‌Nell and Eph were married in a religious ceremony in December 1901 in Port Sunlight, Lower Bebington.2  They had two daughters named Boodie and Flo.  There are no more children.
