John Henry Straley 
John Henry was born on September 20th, 1856 in Lampasas Co, Texas.1 John Henry's father was Joseph Leland Straley and his mother was Sarah Rebecca Clark. His paternal grandparents were Charles M Straley and Elizabeth McComas. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Leland, Charles C, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Houston, Andrew Jackson, Minerva and Julia. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 on July 30th, 1928 in Oplin, Callahan Co, Texas.1 -
