Samuel Houston Straley 
Samuel Houston was born on January 15th, 1863 in Texas.1 Samuel Houston's father was Joseph Leland Straley and his mother was Sarah Rebecca Clark. His paternal grandparents were Charles M Straley and Elizabeth McComas. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Leland, Charles C, John Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Minerva and Julia. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
