Joseph Leland Straley 
Joseph Leland was born on March 12th, 1853 in Texas.1 Joseph Leland's father was Joseph Leland Straley and his mother was Sarah Rebecca Clark. His paternal grandparents were Charles M Straley and Elizabeth McComas. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles C, John Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Houston, Andrew Jackson, Minerva and Julia. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on March 25th, 1923 in Adamsville, Lampasas Co, Texas.1 -
