Bertha Mary Straley

Bertha Mary was born in 1883 in Texas.¹ Bertha Mary's father was John Henry Straley and her mother was Addie Octovarie Popnoe. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Leland, James D, John, Ethel, Magdaline and Earnestine. She is the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry Bland, Mattie Elizabeth and Mrytle Thelma.
