Mrytle Thelma Straley

Mrytle Thelma was born on February 15th, 1908 in Oplin, Callahan Co, Texas.¹ Mrytle Thelma's father was John Henry Straley and her mother was Mary Magdaline Popnoe. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry Bland and Mattie Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Joseph Leland, James D, John, Charles D., Ethel, Bertha Mary, Magdaline, Earnestine, Crystal and Ada. She died at the age of 70 on January 28th, 1979.¹
