John Straley

John was born on April 14th, 1889 in Coleman Co, Texas.¹ John's father was John Henry Straley and his mother was Addie Octovarie Popnoe. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Leland, James D, Ethel, Bertha Mary, Magdaline and Earnestine. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry Bland, Mattie Elizabeth and Mrytle Thelma. He died at just 6 days old on April 20th, 1889 in Coleman Co, Texas.¹
