Magdaline Straley

Magdaline was born in 1886 in Texas.¹ Magdaline's father was John Henry Straley and her mother was Addie Octovarie Popnoe. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Leland, James D, John, Ethel, Bertha Mary and Earnestine. She is the third youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry Bland, Mattie Elizabeth and Mrytle Thelma.
