Joseph Leland Straley

Joseph Leland was born on February 3rd, 1885 in Texas.¹ Joseph Leland's father was John Henry Straley and his mother was Addie Octovarie Popnoe. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James D, John, Ethel, Bertha Mary, Magdaline and Earnestine. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry Bland, Mattie Elizabeth and Mrytle Thelma. He died at the age of 81 in 1966.¹
