Her father, Job, was in his final year (possibly ill), and she was getting married the following year.
Another sister Charlotte Gill (27) was also with them. 21 Jul 1841, Caroline, daughter of Job, married Thomas Henry Blakey at Kirkheaton, St John the Baptist, Yorkshire.
1817 - 1890 Edward Stocks 73 73 In 1841, Edward (20) was a book keeper living at Kirkheaton with his sisters Caroline (25), Ann (15) and Betty (15).

Son of Job & Betty Stocks of Marsden.  Edward married Harriot and had a daughter Elizabeth (was 10 in 1851), living in Wakefield.  He married again after Harriot died and became a hotelier.

In 1841, "Ann" (15) was at Kirkheaton with Edward and sisters Caroline, and Betty.
1785 - <1841 Elizabeth (Betty) Ainley 56 56 1825 - 1908 Elizabeth (Betty) Stocks 83 83 In 1841, Betty was 15 living at Kirkheaton 1819 Thomas Stocks In 1841, Thomas (22) was not with his siblings.  He was at Grove Street, Huddersfield, a Shoe Maker possibly living in lodgings with Alice Beaver (67, Ind) and her sons. 1744 - 1804 Benjamin Stocks 60 60 1742 - 1822 Sarah Cliffe 80 80 Sarah the daughter of John Cliffe (if from Holmfirth).

Sarah was witness to Agnes's marriage (niece) in 1799.
1779 Hannah Stocks 1773 Ann Stocks No Huddersfield marriage for Ann.  Ann appears to be still alive, aged 70 in 1841, living with Sarah and Isaac Attall and family (poosible nephew or niece). 1777 Jinny Stocks 1771 - <1841 Samuel Stocks 70 70 1778 Sally Stocks 1767 - 1769 Mathew Stocks 2 2 1775 - 1851 Job Stocks 76 76 At the Geeen, Marsden, 28 Mar 1813.

In 1835, Job Stocks was in the Poll Book, living at Mould Green, Booth, Almondbury.

In 1841, Job aged 60 is living at Folly, Cowcliffe. 

In April 1851 Job (70, fatheer), born Huddersfield and living at 337 Longwood Gate, Huddersfield with his son William and Harriet.

In Dec 1851, Job died at Fartown .  Fartown is only two hundred yards from Cowcliffe, where Job was living in 1841, so this must be the correct birthpace.

Job was a bookkeeper when William married in 1839 and Elizabeth married in 1852. His son Edward was also a Book Keeper in 1841.

9 Feb 1800, Bathiah Stocks married Richard Parker at Kirkheaton (2 miles S from Fartown).

In 1801 Richard Parker and "Bathey Stocks" had Sarah Parker baptised at Hudderesfield.  They lived at Cowcliffe (0.5 mile N of Fartown)

From 1849, George lived at Netheroyd Hill.  Alfred was baptised at Woodhouse and James buried there.

During his second marriage George and Elizabeth lived at Sheepridge.

Another George about the same age (a Cloth Dresser from Hillhouse) married Hannah Blakey.
1846 Samuel Stocks Samuel (22) married Selina Rowe (21) 12 Jul 1868, was like his father, a manufacturer.

In 1871 the family were at Attorney's Lump, Wooldale, Holmfirth, Yorkshire and in 1881 at Smithfield House, Wooldale.
