Benjamin Stocks

Benjamin was born in 1769 in Huddersfield and his baptism took place on February 26th, 1769 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

Benjamin's father was Benjamin Stocks and his mother was Sarah Cliffe. His paternal grandparents were David Stocks and Sarah Brook. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Mathew, Samuel, Job, Ann, Jinny, Sally, Hannah and Bathey. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 in June 1836 in Huddersfield. His burial was on June 7th, 1836 at Woodhouse Christ Church.¹²
