Hannah Stocks

Hannah was born in 1826 in Huddersfield and her baptism took place on February 26th, 1826 at Woodhouse Christ Church.¹

Hannah's father was William Stocks and her mother was Mary Moorhouse. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Stocks and Ann Walker. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, John, Samuel, Sarah, Jane, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 44 in September 1870 in Huddersfield.²

General Notes
- Hannah (female servant) was with Samuel and Ann Brewer (Farmers at Bently with Arksey) in 1841. William 40 (Ag Labourer) and Mary 39, with Fanny (12), Eliza (6) and Thomas (2) were also at Bently with Arksey. THis family were still there in 1851, so must be another family.
