Sarah married James Clough.
Sarah and James Clough (a counter point weaver) were at Roscoe Fold, Breightmet in 1841 with John (10), James (8), Richard (6) and Ann (4). James's (assumed) parents (John and Susan, both 60) were neighbours.
They were there in 1851 and by 1861, their daughter Ann (24) was head of house with younger brother Samuel (17, a coal miner).
The 1851 census confirms that this Sarah was born Breightmet, 1805.

Sarah and James were married in a religious ceremony on July 19th, 1829 at St. Peter's (Bolton).4 They had eight sons and two daughters, named Thomas, John, James, Richard, Thomas, Samuel, Joseph, Robert, Ann and Margaret. There are no more children.
