Hannah Mather

Hannah was born in 1799 in Darcy Lever and her christening took place on December 1st, 1799 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Hannah's father was John Mather and her mother was Ann Brabin. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Betty Thornley. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named James, Thomas, Martha, Betty, Alice, Mary, Sarah, Margaret, Mary, Ellen, Mary and Jane.

Death Notes
- Hannah (Ann) may have died around 1800, as there are two burials for Ann, daughter of John Mather (4 Jan and 26 Nov) at St Peters Parish Church.

General Notes
- In 1818 Hannah may have married Dennis Ogden, a weaver, and lived at Whitefield. However, this Dennis was old (b.1774) and had been married before.
