Margaret was born on August 25th, 1923 in Tranmere and her christening took place at St. Stephens (Prenton).1  Margaret's father was Richard Timmis Brereton and her mother was Margaret (Maggie) Jane Fisher.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Lydia Timmis; her maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Ann Elliott. She had two brothers named Ken and Arnold.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 90 on December 29th, 2013 in Bidston.  The funeral took place on January 15th, 2014 at St. Stephens (Prenton).  Her cremation was on January 15th, 2014 at the Landican Cemetery.2
