Margaret's son John informed me of her death on 5th Jan 14. She "passed away suddenly" the previous Sunday.
Funeral on 15th Jan 2014, 11:45am at St Stephen's, with receprion after at Prenton Golf club. The service was conducted by the Rev'd Wayne Lautenbach. At the service, there were two wonderful readings. One prepared by Margaret's sone of her life, and another by her granddaughters.
General Notes
Margaret lived in Prenton with her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Arnold until her marriage in 1947.
Margaret was a woman of routine: Mondays was washing day and updatirs; Tuesdays housekeeping downstairs; Wednesdays shopping as Sainsburys and KwikSave; Thursdays baking; Friday hairdressers; Saturdays more baking and Sundays was a day of rest with family and friends, eating all her good cooking and bakeing. She was famous within the family for her perfect roast potatoes!
She drove for many years but gave up in 2009. One of her favourite trips woulld be to Nicholas's Ice-creams as Parkgate.
Margaret was noted for her warmth, friendship, food, hospitality, smile, and being there when needed.

Margaret attended Woodchurch Road Junior school, then passed the scholarship to the Girls Sec (as it was in those days) Park High or Academe now.
Upon finishing the school, war broke out. She left school, to avoid being evacuated to Wales with her younger brother Arnold.
