Allan was born on March 31st, 1923 in New Ferry and his baptism took place on May 6th, 1923 in Rock Ferry.¹

  We know Allan's father was a Blacksmith in New Ferry, which enables us to complete the tree more accurately.

Allan's father was Arthur Bridgwater and his mother was Amy Drummond. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Arthur, Mary and Kathleen. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 78 in August 2001 in Birkenhead.²

  Alan went to sea (would ocasionaly bring carpets and towls home). He then worked at Camel Lairds shipbuilders as a Boiler Plater after that.
  
  Alan had a high ranking Brother in the Navy (unsure of his name - possibly Archie).

- Allan's occupation was Boiler Plater full time in manufacturing for Cammell Laird Shipbuilders.
