HOLT Catherine of 1 Athol Street, Birkenhead, spinster, died 11 Feb 1911. Probate Chester 7 March to Francis Henry Morgan furniture packer.  Effects £50 10s 8d. 1823 - 1885 Martha Holt 62 62 Martha is the second wide of George Brereton, my 3x great grandfather.

Martha's father was Benjamin Holt, a Gardener in 1869.

Samuel and Martha ran a lodging house in Liscard. Catherine Holt (servant) was living with them in 1861.
1823 - 1863 Samuel Morgan 40 40 Samuel's father was Francis Morgan.

When Samuel Morgan married Martha, he was a household servant at Edge Hill, Liverpool.

By 1851 he was married to Martha and a House Proprietrer at Liscard.

He was also described as a furniture packer in Catherine Holt's probate.
1853 - 1887 Hannah Pollard 34 34 1853 Charlotte Jane Morgan Charlotte had gone into service in Tranmere by 1871, working for James and Elizabeth Floyd.  By 1881 it is assumed she was married. 1875 William Morgan 1876 Martha M Morgan 1880 Francis Morgan Francis has his age recorded incorectly in the 1891 census.  There was another Francis Morgan of the correct age in an institution for seamen. 1885 Charlotte Louisa Morgan 1882 Elizabeth Lawlor Elizabeth had only just married Francis in 1901, anh both were living with Elizabeth's mother, Sophia Lawlor (42) and her siblings Robert (10), John W (5) , Annie (4) and Thomas (2). 1850 - 1910 Richard Whitehead 60 60 Richard's mother is Ann, born in Middlewich, Cheshire about 1825. His father (on marriage record) was Robert.

Richard of 5 Harlington-avenue Birkenhead was a screw-towing company's coal runner. He died 18 Apr 1910.

In 1861 she was a housemaid for Samuel & sister Martha Morgan, who were running a longing house in Liscard.

In 1871 was a domestic servant for her brother-in-law John Molly (b.1808, Liverpool) who married sister Jane (also from Shrewsbury).

In 1891 Catherine (Widow) was a Publican in Maccesfiels.  Her sister Hannah was assistong.

In 1901 Catherine (auntie) was with Henry & Anniw Forester and family in Birkenhead.
1815 Jane Holt Jane, 39, a lodging house keper from New Brighton married John Molly, 47 a widower (b.1808, Liverpool). 

In 1871 Catherine was living with them.
1819 Mary Holt 1825 Hannah Holt Another Catherine and Hannah Holt kept a beer house in Sutton, or could it be the same sisters?

Hannah married Henry Madely 29 Dec 1853,
