Nancy Holt

Nancy was born in 1826 in Breightmet and her baptism took place on May 3rd, 1846 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

Nancy's father was Henry Holt and her mother was Betty Greenhalgh.  Her paternal grandparents were William Holt and Mary Barrow. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry, James, John, Isaac, Albert, Mary, Amelia and Nancy.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 19 in February 1845 in Breightmet.  She was buried on February 18th, 1845 in Blackrod.³
