Betty was from Darcy Lever, but was also from Roscoe Fold, Breightmet.
In 1836, Richard Greenhalgh Snr (her father - TBC) had freehold houses at New Lane, and his son Richard Greenhalgh Jnr was at Roscoe Fold.
Betty and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on May 12th, 1823 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Vicar J Slade.4 They had five sons and four daughters, named Henry, James, John, Isaac, Albert, Nancy, Mary, Amelia and Nancy. There are no more children.
