Harriet was born in 1875 in Breightmet.¹

Birth Notes

Harriet's father was Joseph Holt and her mother was Sarah Lomax. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Holt and Elizabeth (Betty) Nuttall; her maternal grandparents were James Lomax and Nancy (Mary) Holt. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Nancy, Benjamin, James, Mary, Amelia, Elizabeth, Sarah and Betsy. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
