Joseph Oxton

Joseph was born on February 22nd, 1833 in Neston and his baptism took place there on February 22nd, 1833.¹²

Joseph's father was Joseph Oxton and his mother was Rachel Williams. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, William, John, George, Thomas, Anne, Alice, Margaret, Mary and Rachel. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 64 on April 8th, 1897 in West Derby. His burial was on April 11th, 1897 in Liverpool.³
