William Oxton

William was born in 1830 in Little Neston.¹

William's father was Joseph Oxton and his mother was Rachel Williams.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Joseph, John, George, Thomas, Anne, Alice, Margaret, Mary and Rachel.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 77 in March 1907 in Chester.²
