Birth Notes

William's father was Joseph Oxton and his mother was Mary Lewis. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Rachel Williams. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, George, Joseph, Robert, Thomas, Margaret and Mary. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
