Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in 1827 in Edgworth and her baptism took place at Edgworth Independent.¹

  It seems Elizabeth wasnt baptised. There is no Elizabeth (or Betty) Mather baptised at the Edgworth Independant.

Elizabeth's father was Joseph Mather and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Andrew, John, Joseph, James, Sophia, Frances, Alice, Jane and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 73 on October 6th, 1900 in Edgworth.²
