Frances Mather

Frances was born on April 3rd, 1831 in Edgworth and her christening took place on June 12th, 1831 at Edgworth Independent.¹²

Frances' father was Joseph Mather and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Andrew, John, Joseph, James, Elizabeth, Sophia, Alice, Jane and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 54 on November 6th, 1885 in Bolton.³
