Andrew Mather

Andrew was born on January 30th, 1833 in Edgworth and his christening took place on May 10th, 1833 at Edgworth Independent.¹²

Andrew's father was Joseph Mather and his mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Charles, John, Joseph, James, Elizabeth, Sophia, Frances, Alice, Jane and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 64 on February 11th, 1897 in Mold. His burial was in February 1897 in Mold.³⁴

  In 1881 Andrew Mather was a publican at Wrexham Street, Mold, Flintshire (see father's Probate).
