Sarah Ann Mather

Sarah was born in June 1845 in Edgworth.¹

Sarah's father was Joseph Mather and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Andrew, John, Joseph, James, Elizabeth, Sophia, Frances, Alice and Jane. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 70 on November 27th, 1915 in Silverdale.²
