General Notes
In 1841, William and Ann (65 & 60) were at Know Mill, farmers, with Priscilla (30), Jonathan (25), Jane (20), David (22) and Charles (20). They were neighbours of the Abraham Settle family and Joseph Mather family (all related).
In 1851, William and Anne (78 & 75) were living at Bottoms, Turton. All the children had left home and married.
William and Anne were married in a religious ceremony on February 16th, 1801 at St. Peter's (Bolton).7 They had six sons and three daughters, named Thomas, William, Joseph, Jonathan, David, Charles, Elizabeth, Priscilla and Jane. There are no more children.
