Edward was staying with Richard and Esther in 1891, but name recorded as Hall, not Hale.
Ted lost one of his hands in the first world war. However, the house he lived in until his death in about 1946 or 47 had a garden of about 1/3 of an acre. How he managed to look after it, was simply amazing.
When he died, his estate was left to his younger sister Agnes, indicating he had no children
Home of Richard and Esther in 1891, richard working as a publican and woodman. Also present were Agnes Eddowed (neice), Edward Hall (grandson). Also Ada, Florence and Esther Brereton (grandchildren). Also, Jessie Eddowes (neice), aged 25.
In 1901 the Hale family was living in 39 Hemingford Street, opposite Thompson's Mission. The Mission is still there today. Thomas & Ann, with all the children George, Thomas, John, Edward, William, Mary, Agnes, Ann and Florrie B.
